Have you noticed the new look of my blog?! It was time for an update, a new logo, and a renewed determination to get back to blogging! I hope you like what you see and will come back for more!
Summer break just started here – and the first order of business was to figure out how we would keep a small bit of routine and responsibility for the kiddos. Chore cards were the perfect answer! If you’re in a situation like us – you’ve got kids who have alot of time on their hands and want to buy every fun thing they see. I created these punch cards as an incentive to earn some cash, and I’ve included a link for you to print them yourself so you can be up and running in no time!
Each card has 18 spots for mom or dad to “punch” showing a chore has been completed. (for us, that’s 3 per day – 6 days a week) There are 3 “bonus punch” stars – for chores that are above and beyond. We decided a fully punched card is worth $5 and each bonus punch is worth 50 cents, but you can decide what works for you an your kids.
Leave a comment if you use these cards and let me know how they worked out for you. Cheers to a clean house and responsible kids this summer! 🙂
